Jack Langford
Jack Langford is a sculptor based in Phoenix, Oregon, where he runs a casting and molding studio that also functions as an art center. Jack's interest in art started with painting and gradually shifted towards sculpture, which culminated with him accepting a position at The Bahá'í World Centre in Haifa, Israel, where he had perfected this craft for over 8 years before returning to the United States. Jack Langford holds a BFA with a focus in sculpture from the University of Southern Maine that he obtained in 1988. While sculpture continues being his primary focus, he still paints occasionally, often to visualize ideas he hopes to test in three-dimensional media. Jack is also an educator who welcomes a community of creatives, among them sculptors, ceramicists, painters, and those interested in exploring mixed media.
